Karen -

I don't see it that way at all. Each person can only do so much. If we do nothing because we can only do a little, then nothing at all gets done.

Since the Prius is also economical to drive, and pollutes less overall, which factors undoubtedly also carry weight in the decision to buy one, considering the admittedly tiny impact on GW seems perfectly reasonable to me.

When I'm driving down a highway and see a lot of litter by the side of the road, I don't consider that license to throw my trash out the window. My small effort doesn't clean up the highway, but at least I am not adding to the problem.
