It is not at all clear that Iran has a wish to take over the will. One thing that is clear is that they wouldn't have any real chance of doing so even if they wanted to.

They would if they could, and if we let them. Doing nothing about it is the same as letting them, or at least giving them tacit permission.

You are conflating the governments of countries like Iran and Iraq with the leadership of Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda would absolutely like to take over the world, and to establish a global caliphate under Sharia law.

Thanks to us, Iraq now has a democratic government, if they have the will to keep it. Under Saddam, Iraq made overt steps to take over the world one country at a time. Iran's headman makes no secret of his ambitions either. All these ambitions are supported by Muslims who chant 'Death to America' and blow themselves up. I don't se a lot of difference between them and al Queda.

But again, they don't have a chance in Hell of accomplishing that goal.

They're counting on our acquiescence and we are giving it to them. Some of us are, anyway.

They are a small group of extremists who aren't supported by the vast majority of muslims in the world.

That argument doesn't wash because this so-called majority is silent.

They have no army, they have no weapons of mass destruction.

They don't need one because they use the cheapest weapon of all: suicide bombers.

Even if they manage to get their hands on a nuclear weapon, they're going to have a tough time getting it anywhere and setting it off.

Don't count on it.

And even if they did, that would hardly put them in a position to take over the world.

You won't like the world they don't take over.
