My favorite orchestral music is early twentieth century stuff, like Prokofiev and Stravinsky. I especially love Prokofiev's piano concertos. My love for his music started early. There was a recording of Peter and the Wolf in my house when I was a very young child, and i played it over and over. It had the intended effect of teaching me about the sounds of the various instruments. We are on the wrong thread to be talking about this. - Allen
