The government still controls the country which goes only to prove that economic viability comes under many forms of government.

Sure they still control the country. And with that control they have decided to allow much greater reign for a free market, and for private sector profits.

As for Afghanistan sure the aid and remittances have helped, and are part of the story, but not all of it. The greater amount of freedom and trade, also helps their economy.

So you think it is just fine for your city to hire private cops and let them define their own laws and inflict themselves on the citizenry?
