Sure they do. Depending on criteria many perform better.

Now, in Canada, this might happen:

Listen, in any country, with any system, you can find problems. I could bury you with problems with the US system, and I already presented data that the major practitioners in the US system believe it needs radical change.

So when did you start to believe that a system that produces average results and cost double is the best in the world? The cost alone disproves your point.
