No, I want a system that works for where we are today. I know that isn't the system we have today so I'm looking for something that will work better.

Since we have samples to look at, we should see what we can borrow from their systems to improve ours. We have a couple of different systems including Medicare and the VA that already have an established infrastructure. The fastest way to universal health care may be to simply expand Medicare to include everyone instead of just the elderly.

I'm not so interested in INSURANCE, I'm interested in providing health care to everyone at an affordable price to society. At this point in time, given what other countries have experienced, single payer systems appear to work the best.

This is the beginning of the debate to save American health care, not the end.
