Let me know, if its not inconvenient, what you narrow in on in a commodity ETF because that is one type of ETF that might appeal to me as a long term hold.

My mother, especially, has a pile of cash sitting in accounts right now.

I guess you already know about EWZ, the Brazil ETF. I think PBR is its biggest position.
