While I am noted as the idiot that always Supports datek here I think you should be aware of a post I posted on the BNGO thread. It was in responce to a message speaking of Datek promising check writing and option trading.

To everybody else just wanted you to know that I do recognize major problems at Datek. I.E. they often fail to do the system upgrades they promise. I just consider them the best option available,

Don't count on either one in the near term.

Datek has promised:

Check writing.
Streaming quotes (real time) (free)
Level 2 quotes.
Options
FOK
AON

All are overdue from their estimates of when they would be ready.

They do remain in my opinion the best place on the internet to trade NASDAQ stocks. They are the only broker I know of that gives BNGOW full representation to the market on limit bids in the spread. I.E. you become the market maker and set the bid or ask.
