Muscle memory is at a very low level of awareness. You can really get a feel for that if you ever tried the prank of sewing up the shirt buttons for a shirt, the owner would absent-mindedly spend quite a long time trying to button the button before they realized it was impossible.

Forgetful is when you don't remember where you put your keys, senile is when you don't remember what keys are for.

Forgetting a fancy key stroke for a few seconds is just a glitch.
