AmeriChip International Inc. (OTCBB: ACII) announced today that Mr. Joseph I Emas has been appointed to the Board of Directors of AmeriChip International Inc., effective immediately.

The appointment of Mr. Emas is commensurate with the Company's commitment to becoming NASDAQ compliant, especially with the NASDAQ stock market rule, which requires a company's board to consist of a majority of independent directors.
