I dont believe you are right about Wright. Its more complex than you make it out,

Any person who believes that 9/11 was "American's chickens coming home to roost" is, as far as I'm concerned, anti-American. The idea that we might elect someone who consorts with such a person, presumably respects his views, and has associated for 20 years with him, is anathema to me.

There is much more to the story than that. But this fact, indisputable, taken alone, is sufficient to veto Obama IMO.

But the fact that he has no significant accomplishment he can point to (other than graduating at Harvard?) is at least as concerning.

The man can give a firey speech. But that is not sufficient to consider voting for him. He hasn't done anything, and his associations with characters who don't like America (including, apparently, his wife) absolutely is grounds for rejecting him as a nominee.

I do believe many Americans are stupid enough to fall for it, but I don't think enough will to put him in office.
