Not to throw cold water but...

- PBR is currently importing oil for internal use

- Development of deep offshore crude is going to be enormously expensive.

To say, "They claim to have found enough oil to power this hemisphere for ages".

Good reasons to be optimistic about the future, but I would cut back on the partying until the oil is flowing sometime after, like 2012....

"The Brazilian claim becomes even more spectacular. Petrobras, the country's big oil company, says the field can product enough oil to "supply every refinery on the U.S. Gulf Coast for 15 years."

Wall Street has written off these these refineries, however Reliance in India maybe looking for some crude.
