Not really. I'm not detailing the hypothetical, only pointing out that the "Gore as president" scenario is a hypothetical, and that no one can ever know how he would have done.

Thats approval not any sort of objective determination or proof of how he did, and also we don't know what Gore's rating would have been. You didn't say "I think Gore would have done better", you said "I've been proven right."
