In *all* of our companion wealthy nations health care costs have also been squeezed so that --- on a PER CAPITA BASIS --- they are *all* much lower then the per capita costs the US runs.

Your assuming that their government insurance/medical care payment programs are critical factors in those lower costs. That , to say the least, has not been established.
