First, stay out of wars for profit.

That's easy, but not very relevant, since we are not waging, and generally do not wage wars for profit.

The privateers also cost in morale

So private contractors, running food service for soldiers on bases in Iraq, or carrying supplies by truck from Kuwait, or building pipeline and generators for the Iraqi government lower the morale of American forces? That's a rather bizarre idea.

The private security company issue could be argued, but the vast majority of contractors in Iraq are not security contractors.

And not all the security contractors are hired by the US government.

If your beef is only about security contractors hired by the US government than I still mostly disagree with you (even while recognizing some problems), but your position is not totally unreasonable. But if that is your position all your talk of the number of contractors in Iraq equally or exceeding the number of American military personnel is irrelevant. Your dealing with a small number of contractors now, not a very large number.
