Well, McCain stepped in it big time with his declaration of political rhetoric against the NC GOP. He thinks their ad about the election of a Governor is racist? It is increasingly more obvious to me why McCain graduated fifth from the bottom of his class at the Navy Academy.

He says the NC GOP is out of touch with reality. Really? How so? They are simply trying to get a governor elected who is not a big Obama supporter. McCain should be supporting that objective with everything he has. Instead he calls them out as being unloyal to RR, TR etc.

This from the man who has supported unlimited illegals in this country, opposed the GWB tax cuts, stiffed the party with McCain-Feingold and opposed ANWR etc.

Repeating myself a third or fourth time, the local elections are vital to the republican party. Because there aren't any leaders showing any common sense at this point.

Closing with a hypothetical: McCain believes he has the South vote sewed up so he can safely call NC and other who States that stray from the McCain mantra. Sewed up? Perhaps he has made decided on the Huckster as his VP. Huck carried a lot of votes in the South.

Is is possible that McCain believes the MSM won't be coming for him in the primary? In my view. he is in for a rude awakening.
