"it's a racist statement that implies AAs aren't mature enough or smart enough to understand what went on and handle their disappointment" The rioting thing I would agree is racist but imo as to handling disappointment well, to be a successful minority group in the United States you cannot accept disappointment, period. Coming in second gets you nowhere. I would like to see a "my way or the highway" attitude from the black community as it would signify to me that they "get it."
