I heard someone speculating that he should offer it to her and that she would accept....Carl Bernstein it was, who having written an unauthorized biography on her thinks he has insight, I guess.

I have no idea. It doesn't appeal to me strategically simply because I hold to the notion of VEEPs having the inside track to run for POTUS, and she would be almost McCain's age after 8 years of Obama.
