Erv, and other interested. Regarding the material I posted on Syquest. In that post, I wished to point out that: 1) Jim is being unduly self-righteous, lamenting of people slandering him, and 2) a possible explanation of Emory's unkind reaction, based on my intial encounter with him. I left some links for those interested and left it at that - to balance the viewpoint that Jim's description of Emory applies to himself. MORE SO - he, unsolicited, has made unkind remarks to an S.I. member. I lurked but was not a party to any events on AMAT. I have never posted there. I regret Emory had to post more from those sources here on Syquest, there was no need to, he's free to do what he wants to defend himself.

In Mr. Goodman's AMAT post to Terry Cohen, having never spoken to him before:1) Disputes his thinking as being way off, then 2) broadly characterized his investment style based on the fact he his an M.D.(in an unflattering manner). As in any profession people have widely different personalities, to make such an overtly general assertion of Dr. Cohen, having never conversed with him, is unkind. Someone may want to ask what Mr. Goodman's intent was. I do not know, nor care to.

Erv and others, I do not think you or I have made unprovoked, first time, comments to other members in such a manner. Feel free to look at my profile. What you won't find are defamatory comments like Jim's directed at members. Deriding their thinking or incorrectly surmising their investment philosophy based on what you do for a living.

Mr. Goodman contributes a great deal to S.I.. I too have learned from him on his lesson boards and benefited. I was sincere in my post to him on Syquest( my first S.I. post to him since March ) in wishing him good luck, and his now positive endeavors to S.I.

I also wish you all equal luck in your investment opportunities.

This matter is closed. Any other comments can be e-mailed to me.

Regards,

Denis
