Well, I looked around but could find no "objective" source for number of years of coal left. I may be wrong, those are numbers I read many years ago.

So we use coal as a tempory fix until we/science can figure out how to provide energy in a resonable manner.

Whatever the years left, it is a lot more and cheaper than oil and will need to increasingly supplant oil.

PS BP just got in a lot of trouble for overstating their oil reserves----by a lot!

I am just the messenger here. I thought we stopped killing the messenger during the age of enlightenment-lol.
