They have the power to cancel "Operation Chaos" and deny Rush the (arguably twisted) enjoyment he's having. Of course, it's much easier for liberals to project their anger at Rush than to look at their own Democratic Party. For example, why are the Clintons still in this race? Why isn't Bill put on a tighter leash? And why isn't anyone speaking out against the whole concept of "superdelegates"? Your comparison to Rev. Wright falls short because (a) he wasn't after publicity (proven by the fact that no one knew who he was or what he said until Obama became a serious contender for the presidency), and (b) he wasn't trying to troll white conservatives.
