Mary I wonder why there are no persons of color posting on S.I. At least they have not identified themselves.. It would be great for me to hear their opinion as we can rant or project or hypothesize about what they might be feeling without ever knowing if we were accurate. I agree with most of what you opine but I think that until one of us has walked in skin of a different color from the more preferred.... in this society.. we will not really truly do more than empathize.
