What better place to hold the GOP National Convention in 1984------Dallas!!----and yes South Fork hosted delegates. Reagan nominated President for a second term setting the stage for George Bush in 1988.

And, who was that singer who opened the Convention with "America the Beautiful"-----------Ray Charles one of the most beloved black male singers and piano players-------remember Ray Charles's song----"What A Wonderful World This Is".
