Correa needs a cookie cutter and I'm betting ARU will be the company he uses to illustrate to the radicals how it can be done to their liking. I am not aware of any other mining company in the country that could be used in this way to prove that responsible mining can be done. Anyone out there think of any other mining company in Ecuador that would serve to back Correa's assertion that responsible mining would be welcomed?

I hope ARU is the example because if he can't find one or two then Acosta could win his point and get support to stop all mining although even if he runs for president, which is likely, he cannot win because the people are becoming disenchanted with the left, Correa's popularity is ebbing, and Acosta is further to the left.

I'll back my horse in the country, ARU, for a hail Mary pass.
