Gore is a laughingstock, with good reason. I don't think anyone other than the ultra-left takes him seriously.

I'm not sure the Dems have ANY candidate who could be Bush, even at this point -- solely because the Dems tend to run the most liberal fools they can find, and nobody is going to elect one of them.

This is the mistake they've made this year -- Obama is so liberal he stands zero chance of getting elected in the General. While Hillary is practically as liberal as Obama, she isn't perceived that way and would have had a much better chance at getting elected.

Neither Obama nor Hillary has a sufficient track record to overcome McCain's, and thus, neither stands a snowball's chance against McCain.
