Just got home and checking in on what the Eagles did. Obviously, they weren't too excited about what was left at pick 19. I can't believe they traded out 2 years in a row, but I saw a stat that Eagles have the most pro bowl players drafted since 2000 so they are doing something right imo.

I was very surprised and happy to see they got Jackson; I really didn't think he would fall that far, but his lack of size was apparently an issue. I listened to the conference call with Jackson and he sounded hungry and very happy to be an Eagle; I believe he will have somewhat of a chip on his shoulder being picked so far down the board and wants to prove himself. The guy is real burner and should immediately upgrade the return game. I have doubts on his WR ability coming in because larger CB's will probably give him trouble getting off the line; we will see though.

I'm kind of surprised at the trade for the running back from the Dolphins. From what I've read he is a guy like Westbrook who is fast and is a capable receiver. It will be interesting to see how this RB situation plays out because that is definitely a crowded position. Imo Hunt, Buckhalter and Moats have plenty to worry about because 2 of these RB's are gonna go before the roster is finalized. Opinions welcomed :) Ok, on to see what we have in the later rounds.

PS: My brother is a rabid Eagles fan and was absolutely livid when they traded out. He kept me updated over the weekend.
