An astute observation, Max.

I think it was Thomas Jefferson who said every democracy needs a good revolution every now & then. I think it's obscene that the current President's pals have become obscenely wealthy in part due to his defense, energy & tax policies, to no-bid and secretive contracts ... and it's equally obscene that our immediate ex-President has amassed $100M from his connections - and telling that those contributions went up considerably when his wife began her run for president.

Stranger yet, no one seems to really care, this is just the status quo. Aren't we on the wrong track here in this country - on both sides of the aisle? When self-enriching behavior becomes the modus operandi - are we much better than the any of the 3rd world tin pot dictators we so often criticize (and often overthrow)?

Just musing. Sadly, it doesn't seem like the America I grew up loving in my heart. Time for a Revolution?

Max
