Rodney, I believe that you need to qualify your statement further. They are the best place to trade over the Island ECN. It is their limit book system. You're not an idiot Rodney, I think you have always stated that Datek is primarily a Nasdaq trading company. Datek's problem is that they try to come across as more than that. They don't offer half of what the other internet Broker Dealers offer (namely mutual funds, options, etc.) whereas other providers do. If you do a couple of trades a day then the other guys give you more value, plus the benefit of being a true broker-dealer. If you are a hyper-active trader then your potential for problems on Datek increases significantly. There are other Internet Trading systems that are better suited for the active trader. I think my comments are acurate and I base it soley on my own experience. But I believe many other traders have had the same experience.
