If you are not a democrat, you could care less about the democratic party - and as it should be, imo. I am a democrat and I care about the democratic party. We have a difficult election coming up. Why should we gamble with nominating Obama? He is not vetted. Why not wait? Why not let the American people get to know him? Why can't Obama supporters see that most voters that are not already committed to him want to know the relationship between Obama and his pastor. They want to know what the pastor thinks and they want to know how Obama can reconcile his differences with his pastor. These are legitimate questions. These are not questions that have easy answers.

To be fair to Obama and to be fair to the American people, we should not rush to judgement on these questions.

Obama supporters should take one for the team - team America. They have invested their egos, emotions, and dreams on Obama. They have to let go of these dreams for the time being. Regroup. And, come back stronger than ever. That's a tall order for these supporters, but this is for the greater good of the country (from a democratic party perspective).
