Thanks for posting that, not that I'm happy to read it.

Ms. Milbank's analysis of the potential effect of Wrights speech before the National Press Club on Obama's candidacy, unfortunately, may be right on the money.

While I still consider it simplistic and wrong to conclude that everything Wright says is something that Obama secretly believes, or that his repudiation of Wright's words hasn't been strong enough, I think there may well now be many more people who will be disturbed enough by this new material that Obama's chances of being elected will be drastically reduced.

It's too bad. I watched part of what Wright had to say on Bill Moyer's Journal, and it seemed like he'd be able to win over many people who had previously condemned him.

I'm trying to figure out whether this current spate of nausea is caused by my chemotherapy or by despair.
