if any of you had any explanation for it. One explanation is that jewish identification is somewhat optional. There may well be as many descendants of Abraham as there are of the Han tribe, but almost all of the Han are still identified as Han while many jews are now morano, or forcably converted. Take for example Madeline Albright. Is she jewish because her parents were jewish, or is she not jewish because she identifies with a christian sect? Did all the Han stop being chinese if they identified with Mao's party? - That too was a big change of culture. In short, you compare apples and oranges. TP
