I heard it differently.

Guessing you meant "go after him", Obama can take that like he does or will do a lobbyist. Listen and then do what he thinks is right. It's not like they are a tag team.

There will be many who want his ear after he is elected.

I watched the whole Washington National Press Club speech and the Q&A. Wright is a pastor who presses buttons. His pressure on the "apology" has no place in a Presidential primary or the General Election. The perennial strategy is to move to the center and not to lose votes.

Obama can can handle Wright IMO just as he can meet with the "5 enemies" from that YouTube question.

Throwing Wright "under the bus" makes no more sense than meeting with an enemy and saying my way or the highway. Sometimes it takes more than 1 or 2 meetings. Look at how many times Kennedy met with Khrushchev.
