"Resolved our differences," as usual, means you insulting me personally until I stop talking to you.
Yes, I've reached that point. It doesn't take much in the way of personal insults for me to see where you're headed, it's your way of dealing with arguments you can't win. Evade the message, attack the messenger. Not just me, you do it to pretty much everybody. When I see you do it, I feel I've won.
But at least you had to give up on the ridiculous argument that China doesn't send its men and women to die in desert sands. Next time, think twice before you attack, your assertions have a way of coming back to bite you. ;^)
Nationalism is an inherently flawed concept, the underlying assumptions are almost impossible to defend.
As for American men making wonderful husbands, I wish I could give you more than anecdotal evidence but I've seen countless American men married to women from all over the world, Asian, European, African, Latina, Caribbean, Pacific Rim, but American women don't tend to do the same.
It's true that American men tend to have a lot of money, but it's not just that, they are more egalitarian and respectful to women. The same thing could be said for Western European men, and by and large Americans are descended from Western Europeans, as are Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders, all of whom make pretty darn good husbands. ;^) |
