Funny you mention WalMart. They opened a new supercenter down the street about 4 months ago, and it was the most expensive in WalMart's history at the time. This place is MASSIVE, with 8 foot wide aisles. Prices were high, at least for food, so we kept buying at local stores. Was there last night. Aisles were nearly empty of people and everything was absolutely spotless. There were "Rollback" stickers EVERYWHERE in the food aisles, and the prices were almost competitive with local grocers.

We still won't shop there. Would rather support local businesses than a "Made in China" store if prices are similar.
