If "5" was your number, then today was your day. Total volume looks like it was 5,555,000 shares traded today! Wow!
Here's the breakdown as I calculated it from Real Time Quotes:
BUYS............ 3,372,000
Sells.............. 1,524,000
Cross Trades... 659,000
Total.............. 5,555,000
What is STRANGE here is that the BUYING was stronger than Selling at a ratio of more than 2.2 to 1. I would think that would push the price up higher.
Could it be that MMs were trying to keep the price down to cover their shorts?
Lots of blocks trading at 100,000 and higher!!
