Dana Milbank said that Obama was being "swiftboated" by his own pastor. It's more true than Milbank realizes; the swiftboat charges stuck because they were largely true. In Rev. Wright's case, his charge that he represents the black church is not all true but it's partially true, and the idea that Obama has any reason to feel the surprise he now claims is clearly false. Jeremiah Wright has not ever hidden his light under a bushel.

Meanwhile, there is nothing to hinder Rev. Wright from continuing his "I'll show YOU!" tour.
