I absolutely believe that Wright is damaging Obama's career. That's obvious. But the tragedy of it is that this is what this country has become. We care more for tabloid junk news and issues than for the issues that matter like fixing social security, becoming oil independent, and balancing our budget.

I think the worst thing that has happened during the Bush administration is the intertwining of religion with politics. Religion has absolutely no place in politics.

But if we're going to curse Obama for being associated with Wright, then we'd better be evenhanded about it and curse McCain for Hagee. Anything less is simply unfettered bias.

The fact that you don't acknowledge that is a testament to your extremist neo-con views, which are mostly taken from watching Fox News and listening to Hannity and Rush too much.
