Al, shareholders don't care (Or don't care too much) about whether
Lee will still be in charge of the company. All they care is
whether the deal can be or at least seem to be a good marriage
viewed from the Wall Street.

I really don't care about Lee's personal dreams. Say, if he gets
a great package from ATT, I bet he will jump onto ATT right away.
Then ask yourself a question: what has he done for GTE's shareholders?
