Comtech Telecommunications Corp. Receives $2.4 Million in Satellite Communications Equipment Orders

MELVILLE, N.Y., April 30, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (NasdaqGS:CMTL) announced today that its Tempe, Arizona-based subsidiary, Comtech EF Data Corp., received $2.4 million in orders for satellite communications equipment from a major system integrator. The equipment will be deployed by U.S. and foreign government agencies to expand existing satellite communications-based networks.
The orders encompass an assortment of Comtech EF Data products, including CDM-570L Satellite Modems, MBT-4000 Multi-Band Transceivers, Low Noise Amplifiers and Outdoor Power Amplifiers. These satellite communications infrastructure products feature technologies that are scalable, reliable and bandwidth-efficient, supporting users globally in a variety of applications. |
