Well .. got my sentence yesterday.

Five years probation + time served.

I pled guilty to felonious assault, possession of a hoax explosive device and growing more than 40 marijuana plants.

The probation department had recommended two years probation. The judge thought I needed more.

Still, it could have been much worse for me.

We need to take out the policy of the federal government against medical marijuana. This should be a no brainer for our elected officials.

Politicians make very poor doctors. Even more so when their "prescriptions" last for decades.

People from all over the country are pledging to make at least one email per day to elected officials.

A medical marijuana bill has been introduced to congress.
At this time, the same MO is being applied as has been for years now.

Any time such a bill has been introduced, it gets shipped off to a committee where it can quietly die.

At this moment, the current medical marijuana bill is in the Energy committee. What the hell does marijuana have to do with energy??? Obviously this is simply an attempt to side step the issue.

The nasty fact is that people are suffering and being jailed because of these shell games they are playing.

Don't let them get away with it again, PLEASE.

Here are some things that can be done:

icmag.com

Let them know they are being watched! Let them know they can't get away with it again.

thanks

Gersh
