Clyburn told the press that Wright should provide his shoulders for Obama to stand upon to reach for the White House and he shouldn't be part of any "knee-capping" exercise that is currently going on. Clyburn condemned Wright. All of this may turn out to have the silver lining that it gave Obama plenty of reason to unequivocally denounce Wright, which means the Republicans will have less power to slam him on it in the G.E., because the American people will remember the denouncement and will be tired of the Wright saga. Except for the folks who have already made up their mind, that is.
