A friend of mine has some cash and is wanting to start a business. We have tossed some ideas around and have concluded solar might be the way to go. We could become solar panel installers. In Indiana it would be hard to find such a thing and indeed we do not have prime sun. However, there are definitely neighborhoods/burbs around Indianapolis (Carmel, Plainfield, etc...) where house prices are so high that solar panels are cheap relative to the overall expense of the house.

That said, I was wondering if anyone here could point me in a direction to best research the feasibility and the options available for one who wants to delve into solar panel installation.

Thanks in advance.
