Anyone know who that major shareholder was in New York that Ampex spoke to regarding raising equity capital? For all we know it may have been Bramson? Hillside? Since Bramson was kicked out and Strickland hired, everything leading up to this Chapter 11 bk have been weird.

Like I said before, Strickland has done nothing positive for this company. It seems like he was hired to take this company to Chapter 11 bk by talking the stock price down and delivering it to Hillside. Everything he has said or done has driven this stock down to where it is today...into Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Court. Can anyone quote anything that Strickland, as CEO, had said or done that was positive about Ampex to turn it around?

The Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Court hearing is scheduled on May 12, 2008 at 10:00 am before US Bankruptcy Court Judge, the Honorable Arthur J. Gonzalez, US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, One Bowling Green, Courtroom 523, NY, New York 10004.

I hope this bk court hearing will lead to criminal investigations by the SEC of current and past management of Ampex. At least it will shed some light (sunshine?) on what this secretive (maybe evil?) Ampex management has really been doing over all these years. It is very troubling that Ampex is in Chapter 11 when Mckibben and Strickland did not explore all avenues of raising equity capital to get this company out of the debt mess with Hillside. Why didn't they contact Gruber & McBaine and all the other major stockholders to explore how to raise equity capital? Also, have they issued any follow-up reports on M-CAM's and/or Commercial Strategies findings after they were hired to research and possibly help monetize Ampex's patents?

P.S. James, I know that you have been working diligently on behalf of us stockholder and it is much appreciated. I trust that you are also working with all the other major stockholder to shed some light on Ampex and represent all the stockholders at the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Court Hearing on May 14, 2008 at 10:00 am with the Honorable Arthur J. Gonzalez.
