Ruilin, Lee has built a rural bumkin of company into a premier Major Telecom force . Its true from a shareholders perspective, what have you done for me lately. But sooner or later, the market will regonize GTE for what it is value and position in the market place. Now where in the Telecom universe would you rather be, WCOM a house of cards that can't possibility put all the broken pieces they've aquired together, ATT, who's board doesn't care what happens to the company so long as they're calling the shots and in case they haven't noticed they got a lot of holes in them there feet, or a RBOC that is bound to a specific region and yet to have a long distance customer. No, GTE is the place to be. If this deal gets done all we need is the Gobal merger and then we've got it all. This a long wait, but once you've got it all what ever you do, don't sell it cause you'll be sorryyyy.
