Off marginbegone...you use the 1/3,1/3,1/3 to reduce risk; what do you do in terms of diversification? For example, Al Frank recommends being highly diversifed in terms of number of stocks you own and the industries and sectors they are in - he would have you own 50, 100, 200 stocks depending on the $ value of your portfolio. Others say that the average investor cannot know or keep up with that many. They recommend a more manageable number like 20 or 30. Then others say track just a few - maybe a handful - get to know the company inside out and make large investments in the companies that warrent the speculation.

What is your diversification policy especially in regard to the 1/3,1/3,1/3 risk reduction rule.

Thank you ... and again, a great thread - thanks for your insight and time.

Terry
