They were firing at our aircraft patrolling the no-fly zones on a daily basis. They were constantly bringing us to the brink of war and backing off, time and again, which made the US look weak in the eyes of terrorists and undermined our credibility and encouraged terrorist attacks against us.

Hardly the reason to go to war and certainly not a threat to the US.

While WMD weren't found, we know they had objectives to get back into the WMD business.

Same as above. This was a tin pot country with a broken army and no ability to get back into anything we did not want them to get into.

They were allowing AQ to train in Iraq.

That is bullshit. There was no connection between AQ and Saddam.

They were supporting the families of Palestinian suicide bombers, making them obvious supporters of terrorism.

That is a reason for Israel to go to war...and it did not. A threat to the US was the initial claim.

The lack of a stable democracy in the region serves to foment Islamic terrorism world wide.

In that case we should be at war with Pakistan not Iraq.

They had previously attacked Kuwait for its oil. Saudi Arabia asked us to defend it from Iraq because it believed Iraq would come after THEIR oil. The loss of access to that oil would be an absolute economic disaster for the United States, a risk we couldn't continue to deal with, particularly after 9/11.

Ancient history...the scenario you describe did not take place and was certainly not going to again.

Iraq was contained. There was zero reason to go to war except to fill the dream of a handful of sinister MFs in bush's administration...some with the goal of protecting Israel's interests, others with the goal of capturing control of all that oil. And bush was the perfect dupe to make it all come together.
