I looked on McCain's website for details on his 'plan'.... If the average family policy I read about with coverage through an employer costs $12,000 dollars these days, and McCain gives these folks the option to stay with it, I don't think many will take the $5,000 credit. As you say, he offers nothing concrete on insuring those who are sick, so I wonder how many would really go for the plan. Pretty thin IMO so far...

PS - He's got a lot of 'John McCain understands' bullets, but no meat on the site. Things like portability and how he will make that happen, insurance across state lines, etc. A 5k credit in NYS where choice is nill is useless....
