Seems like Obama is using the gas tax issue to speak more about the environment/alternative energy..this report from a Bloomington stop yesterday.. ______________________________________ He hammered the Clinton-McCain gas-tax holiday and spent quite a bit of time talking about climate change. He mentioned “global warming” directly, warned about the polar ice cap melting, and called for a price on carbon… which was curious because he did not say “cap and trade” as far as I can recall. Al has me in a tizzy with all the Man from TN talk, but there was more about the environment in this speech than I have heard in a number of Obama stump speeches. He even talked about electric cars!
