I read alot of garbage from the right and left. I read the National Review and watch Fox News quite a bit, for example. What I've found is that 90% of what we read and watch is garbage. But if you read enough of it, you begin to see patterns that may be the truth. I've actually found that reading foreign newspapers like the BBC helps me get good perspective as well. What is amazing to me is that right now most of the folks outside the US are for Obama. Some of my friends in Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK, for example, have told me that our image has already been lifted up by the very fact that so many Americans have been supporting Obama. That is amazing to me, because I thought the damage that Bush did to our prestige would take a couple generations to fix. One thing is for sure. The whole world is watching and they very deeply want for the US to become the beacon of light to the rest of the world again. Everyone is waiting with baited breath for Bush to step aside. Clamoring for it is more like it.
