"A federal decriminalization bill was introduced last month. HR 5843, sponsored by Reps. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) and Ron Paul (R-Tex.), " Wrong. There are, currently, two bills before congress. HR-5842 and HR-5843 5843 is for decrim and mmj. It was sponsored by Barney Franks. 5842 is just for mmj. It was cosponsored by Paul / Franks. There is confusion about the two bills. Which is for what etc. I think the decrim bill has little hope. It would be nice if I were wrong and it was passed. I think the mmj bill stands a much stronger chance. Both being in congress right now dilutes efforts and the decrim bill taints the mmj bill. It's a crime against humanity for politicians to require people to suffer by law. I am actively supporting 5842.
